Kirk mobile has always been good to me. Life has been busy lately and haven’t been able to work on my own vehicles and took my truck in for a check engine light at the dealer to get diagnosed. Dealer wanted almost 6k for a whole new harness for 3 or 4 broken wires. I reached out to Kirk mobile to see if they could repair the harness “and was told of course no problem” also said that “they have done it before” and asked for the vin to verify wire schematics! Do you come to me, or do I need to bring my equipment to your shop?
Kirk Mobile Repair comes to you — we service trucks and equipment on-site at your job location, and we also have a shop in Ogden for work that's easier to do off-site.
What kinds of trucks and equipment do you work on?
We work on heavy and light diesel fleet vehicles and construction equipment. The list of repairs we handle is extensive — it's easier to say what we don't do: no tires, no glass.
How fast can you get to my job site?
Response time to your job site depends on your location and our current job load, so call us at 801-731-3239 and we'll give you a realistic ETA the same day.
Do you do DOT inspections?
Yes, our technicians are certified to perform Federal DOT inspections, on-site or in our shop, and every PM service includes a thorough DOT inspection with a recommended-work report.
Do you provide roadside service after hours?
Our standard hours are Monday–Friday 7am–5pm and Saturday 10am–5pm, but a fleet breakdown doesn't wait for business hours. Call us at 801-731-3239 and we'll do what we can to get you taken care of.
Do you handle engine and transmission work?
Yes — we handle remove-and-replace of engines and transmissions, generally using reman units, to get you back on the job fast. Internal engine and transmission rebuild work is delegated to a specialty shop.
What's your labor warranty?
All of our work is guaranteed — 30 days on labor and one year on parts. Minimum charges apply: 1 hour labor minimum, and on-site diagnostics have a 2-hour minimum.
Do you work on all makes of diesel trucks?
Yes, our technicians service heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and construction equipment across all makes and models. Whatever's in your fleet, chances are we can service it.
